    Modern Warfare not working on Disc


    I have no idea what is going on with Call Of Duty Modern Warfare but sick of it.

    I bought the game on Disc and have uninstalled and the re-installed the whole thing,all packs and yet here we are still asking me to Purchase the Game?

    What is wrong with this?

    Why are Xbox/Microsoft and Activision not fixing this problem?

    All the money I have spent on this title to then be asked to update the game with endless updates,bug fixes,more updates to fix the last update because that update didn't fix the update before that one and then they update the crappy Warzone and now it has completely broken Modern Warfare,The Campaign,the CO-OP and the Multiplayer,none will work and asks me to purchase it?

    In all the years of gaming this is the most ridiculous time for gaming,never in the history of gaming has it ever been so **** as it is right now..

    All it seems is the greed for money has overtaken the need to develop a game that actually works but no,stupid little Micro transactions and forget the actual game..UPDATE AFTER UPDATE,takes nearly 5 minutes to even get past the load screens to even get into a lobby which was horrific enough but to be told to re-buy a game I already own and still no,"We are sorry for the issues you maybe experiencing,we are working to get this fixed" NOTHING

    Where is everyone that needs to be fixing this issue?

    Do I get a full refund?

    Xbox 360 won't read a certain disc

    I was playing modern warfare and It told me that the disc was unreadable and I tried cleaning it. BUT THE REIGON was all ok. all my other disc are fine. it is just that game

    same with mine too, I got the full modern warfare disc, but it's telling me to purchase modern warfare, but only giving me the option to play warzone.

    You should be more specific, if you bought Modern Warfare as a disc. You have to have the disc in the console when you want to Modern Warfare. If you bought the game digitally, be sure to check your email for order confirmation and/or Xbox Live Notifications.

    Modern Warfare 2019 won't work on Xbox Series S

    Hello.

    I own a physical copy of the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. I bought it in early 2020 and have been playing it on Xbox One.

    It's as if the Xbox doesn't recognize I have the license for the game or something. In the store I can find the Modern Warfare digital copy for full price.

    I can also find Warzone for free and it says "Includes Modern Warfare". Except it doesn't work.
    Hi,

    If you own a physical (disc) copy of Call of duty, then it's the license for the disc version that you own. Since the Series S has no Blu-ray drive, any disc games you have installed will not work as they require the disc to prove ownership.

    I'm afraid as the Series S has no optical drive, you will have to re-buy Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2019 as a digital purchase. This also applies to all other games you own on disc.

    If this is not cost effective to you, then your only option is to buy a Series X, which does contain a Blu-ray drive.
