I highly recommend following the troubleshooting steps here:

After each step try to see if the issue is fixed!

First, please select System > Settings > account > remove accounts and then select your account and select Remove to confirm.

Then, hold down the power button for about 10 seconds, until the console shuts off, then unplug the power cord and wait for 2-3 minutes before plugging it back in and turn on the Xbox.

If the issue persists, please select System > Settings > devices and streaming > blue ray > persistent storage > clear three times > restart console.

If you are still encountering the same issue, please select System > Settings > System > Console info > Select Reset console > Choose Reset and keep my games and apps

same with mine too, I got the full modern warfare disc, but it's telling me to purchase modern warfare, but only giving me the option to play warzone.

I clear the cache and then updated call of duty 4 no problem. Then try to do Modern Warfare 2 and it error. I also erased everything off the hard drive everything that was Modern Warfare 2 and still error. Now it won't download the new map packs that
was on the hard drive. Download 99% then errors. I glad I never had trouble like this with my xbox, I probably have throwen it out. This is crazy.

I'm afraid I'm not a fan of halo, modern warfare 3 is a great game and I love online play but it's very suspicious that the xbox people tell me that the surface of your modern warfare 3 looks strange if you compare with other xbox discs. What I recommend
is if you copied to the hard drive to avoid problems for the poor quality of the dvd.

I have decided to sell the game because I do not inspire confidence these strange markings on the tape of the game but each choose if your console has not frozen ever playing this game will be who has had more luck than me because I have frozen my Having

No was trying to re download the map packs, because I erase them and all the stuff for modern warfare 2 off the hard drive. Was trying to download the maps back to the hard drive and won't do it right at end errors. Does anyone know is there a way to burn
the maps and updates for modern warfare 2 on a CD? That what I half to do to update the dashboard when there dashboard updates.
