Modern warfare disc version

I have the disc version of both modern warfare and black ops: cold war. After installing cold war when I put the modern warfare disc in the xbox and launch the game it says I have to purchase modern warfare even though I own the game and the disc is in the machine

i've had modern warfare for the last two years and all the updates made me not have my multiplayer for modern warfare anymore and I don't know how to reinstall multiplayer for modern warfare since I have the disc version and I don't know what to do because Customer service will not help me can someone online help me

I have the disc version. Everything is installed. I now get to the screen and it says:

Modern Warfare

PURCHASE

I have the disc in the machine!!!

Yes, you can buy the Vault Edition upgrade if you have the disc version of the game.

No you cannot actually per https://www.xbox.com/en-US/games/store/call-of-duty-modern-warfare-iii-vault-edition-upgrade/9PK2J9GDNWW3 it says:

"Call of Duty®: Modern Warfare® III digital Cross-Gen Bundle required to redeem upgrade content. Sold separately."

Unless the description is just flat out wrong then the disc version won't work with the upgrade. They must have the digital version.

Disc version of callof duty modern warfare wont play it keeps prompting me to purchase game even though there is a disc of the game in the xbox and everything is installed i dont understand why ? Can anyone help ?
