    Modern Warfare data packs not available for download


    I recently downloaded modern warfare on my Xbox One and went to go play the campaign only to discover i had to download a bunch of stuff to play it. Annoying but whatever. Then I went to download the data packs for it and their listings in the store say they are not available.

    No download errors, no bad connections, no “free up storage” pop-ups. Just “Not Currently Available, Continue Shopping” where it should say Get.

    Without those data packs, I cannot play the game I just bought. I have to assume this is a recent problem as everything I’ve found so far has only taught me how to download them, nothing has mentioned this yet.

    Is there anything I can do? If not, what is going on and what is being done to fix it?

    Please follow the steps listed above. It will take you to manage "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare" add-ons. It's the latest update that has been added to the game.

    When you are in "Manage" for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, Scroll down to "Ready to install" and the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare - Compatibility Data Pack 1 should be available for download.

    I recommend trying the troubleshooting steps here:

    After each step try to see if the issue is fixed!

    First, please select System > Settings > account > remove accounts and then select your account and select Remove to confirm.

    Then, hold down the power button for about 10 seconds, until the console shuts off, then unplug the power cord and wait for 2-3 minutes before plugging it back in and turn on the Xbox.

    If the issue persists, please select System > Settings > devices and streaming > blue ray > persistent storage > clear three times > restart console.

    If you are still encountering the same issue, please select System > Settings > System > Console info > Select Reset console > Choose Reset and keep my games and apps.
