Modern Warfare causing xbox one x to shut down

I've been dealing with a problem where my xbox shuts down while playing modern warfare.

First my game freezes then my xbox shuts down complety ik this is a know problem but when will this issue get fixed when i play $100 dollars i expect to play the game now im scared to touch it beause i think it might break my xbox completly

My xbox one x shut down once bc of modern warfare. Infinity ward does need to do something. You are not alone

Are you playing on X? If that so. MW has an issue with X. On the developer's side. They are working on a fix. The same thing is with Borderlands. Both of these games cause X to shut down. Information about COD: Link
Same as you, I am concerned about both games. No other games have done that since.

Activision are aware of the problem and are working on a fix.

It may not be XBox’s problem to fix but I bought he game from XBox/Microsoft, that makes it their problem. I purchased this game weeks ago in good faith that the product I purchased would function. Huge disappointment.

It's still not Microsoft's problem. You could always request a refund and Microsoft may give you one, but they aren't responsible for getting it to work. That's up to Activision.
