    Modern Warfare causing Xbox One X crashing


    Modern Warfare is causing my Xbox One X to Crash and fully shutting down my console. I am aware Infinity Ward is working on the problem but there hasn't been an update today from them as they mentioned on their reddit
    support page that they would be working closely with Microsoft on that issue. Do you anyone know when they will fix this issue for Xbox One X users? Also my console has shut down into a hard shutdown as if you were to shut it down by holding the xbox button
    for 10seconds like 10 times. It has damaged my network settings forcing me to reset the NAT table in my routers settings. In addition to that what other long term damage has been to as far a corrupting the hard disk from all of the random hard restarts??

    Xbox one X broken - Call of Duty Modern Warfare

    Same here multiple updates and still to this day the xbox one x crashes for me playing modern warfare. Its a hard crash and makes me want to switch to PlayStation 4.

    The crashing with Borderlands 3 and Modern Warfare is a known issue for Activision and Gearbox.

    You can look at
    currently known issues with Modern Warfare here    , where it mentions the crashing on Xbox One X (approximately in the middle of the table). Activision is already working on a fix.

    People that submitted a
    support ticket to 2K Games     got a response that they are also investigating this crashing issue. You can (and should) also report your crashing, so they can gather more information on what might cause these crashes.
