    Modern warfare and metro exodus causing Xbox one x to shut down


    Metro is shutting Xbox down when attempting to load a saved game and MW is shutting it down in Multiplayer menu. I’ve tried lots of other enhanced games and it’s not happening with them. I very much doubt it’s hardware issue as Xbox isn’t hot in the slightest and well ventilated. This is either an OS issue or game issue. I’m in omega preview and MW was doing this in beta so dropped to omega about a week ago it seemed to stop shutting down on MW but is now doing it again. Anyone with this issue. Hopefully insider staff will see this

    Are you playing on X? If that so. MW has an issue with X. On the developer's side. They are working on a fix. The same thing is with Borderlands. Both of these games cause X to shut down. Information about COD: Link
    Same as you, I am concerned about both games. No other games have done that since.

    It may not be XBox’s problem to fix but I bought he game from XBox/Microsoft, that makes it their problem. I purchased this game weeks ago in good faith that the product I purchased would function. Huge disappointment.
    It's still not Microsoft's problem. You could always request a refund and Microsoft may give you one, but they aren't responsible for getting it to work. That's up to Activision.
