    Modern Warfare 3 Spec Ops 360/One Backwards Compat Issue


    Hello.

    Having an issue when playing survival mode of Spec Ops on MW3. I'm playing on an Xbox One and my teammate is on an Xbox 360. We spawn in but eventually get out of sync and where the other player appears to be on one screen is different from the other for both players. It's like the game forgets the players positioning and doesn't display it or their actions properly. I just want to be able to play cross-console with the other person properly. Hopefully it won't be much of an issue.

    Playing local Modern Warfare 3 spec ops with my friends but sadly the new modern warfare has no spec ops split screen.

    Backwards compatibility.

    Ok, I have the games installed on Xbox 360 and they are backwards compatible. Black Ops 1 shows up on my Xbox One's ready to install same with Modern Warfare 3 but Black Ops 2 and alot of my other games DON'T show up. I don't understand why.

    Hey CamoKamikaze, how are you today? Hope you're well.

    This issue happens to any other games that you guys try to play as co-op, os just with COD?

    One thing you might have to check out is the your router configuration, and also, try to reinstall the game.

    Call your internet service provider, and ask them to open the ports described below on your router.

    Port 88 (UDP)

    Port 3074 (UDP and TCP)

    Port 53 (UDP and TCP)

    Port 80 (TCP)

    Port 500 (UDP)

    Port 3544 (UDP)

    Port 4500 (UDP)

    Also ask to disable and then, enable it again the UPnP function and if you have a modem and a router the process has to be done on both devices.

    Besides, ask them to put their PC's IP in the DMZ zone configuration.

    To locate the IP of your PC: On the taskbar, select Wi-Fi network > the Wi-Fi network you're connected to > Properties.

    Under Properties, look for your IP address listed next to IPv4 address.
