Modern warfare 2 won’t launch, displays dev error 5523

We will continue to investigate the issue; we’d like to know more about it in details so that we can provide a more accurate resolution for you. To start, please provide us information/answer on the following questions:

1. Xbox app and Gaming services version? Xbox app > select Profile picture > Settings > About.
   
2. What troubleshooting steps have you done?
   
3. Was this working before?
   
4. Recent activity or changes made before the issue appeared?

System Requirements: OS: Windows 7, Windows 10 64-bit

• Processor: Intel Core i5 or AMD Ryzen R5
  
• RAM: 12GB
  
• GPU: Nvidia GeForce GTX 970 or 1660; AMD RADEON R9 or RX 580
  
• DirectX: Version 12
  
• Network: Broadband Preferred
  
• Storage: 175GB needed for complete installation
  

Posible fixes:

Fix 1: Disable Overlay

Overlays are due to GeForce Experience, Discord, Bandicam, Overwatch, Fraps, and Game Bar

Fix 2: Reinstall Graphics Card Driver

Fix 3: Roll-Back Graphics Card Driver

Fix 4: Run the Game as Administrator

Fix 5: Windows Update for PC

Hi there,

I have tried all troubleshooting steps, nothing has solved the problem. It’s been a few weeks and I still have t successfully been able to play the game on my new console. I’ve been in contact with activision and they seem to have no idea what to do. Starting to wonder if this is a problem with the console internally, although it doesn’t make sense how other games work perfectly fine
