Modern Warfare 2 Pre-Order missing

I preordered MW2 Vault Edition using my card and it took the $99.99 at that moment. If showed that I owned the game and I was able to play the beta as well as the early access campaign. The day before the game’s release I preloaded the game onto my console. On the day it released I tried to play MW2 and it said I needed to buy the game. I tried uninstalling parts of the game like the vault edition packs, the multiplayer, and all of that didn’t work. I uninstalled the entire game and I went to my owned games and it didn’t appear there so I went to the Xbox store and it said I didn’t own the game and needed to purchase it. I checked my order history and the preorder said declined for lack of funds but I had already had the money removed from my account immediately after I preordered the game. It seems like it tried to take a second 100$ out of my account t then declined and I don’t know why. I contacted support and they said that the money should return to my account in 3-4 days. I no longer have the card I used to pay so I asked if that was a problem but they said it will go yo the account if I still have it and I do still have the account. I still haven’t received my $99.99 back nor does the game appear in my owned games. I am extremely frustrated at the moment and would like to either be given the vault edition game or my money back to my Xbox wallet so I can try to repurchase MW2 Vault edition. I am very hopeful that this can be resolved within the next day.

This did not resolve the issue. I still do not have the option to access Modern Warfare. It only shows options to pre-order Modern Warfare 2, Play Warzone, or Purchase Vanguard. If I view it in the store it says I own the game.

Based on the updated known issue list - Game Release Known Issues for November 2022 - Microsoft Community, under 'I am getting a message saying, "Do you own this game or app?"', you will notice the message it said that you will need to make sure your payment method is up-to-date.

Additionally, we would like to let you know that existing Call of Duty®: Modern Warfare® II - Cross-Gen Bundle is upgradable to Call of Duty®: Modern Warfare® II - Vault Edition.

I Pre ordered Modern Warfare 2 and Black ops with GAME and both of them got delivered before the release day. So it could be the same for you lot maybe if you pre ordered with them

For a start. I'm missing 29 games from my Xbox series X ready to install list. A few are borderlands, borderlands 2 and the pre sequel and Call of Duty Modern warfare.

Known Issue: Users who pre-ordered Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Remastered are not seeing the Underwater Demo Team Ghost Operator Bundle unlocked as a pre-order bonus in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare.
