Modern Warfare 2 on Xbox One

A few friends and I have had issues for the past 5 days trying to get MW2 to run smoothly and it is not. The game freezes when trying to get into lobbies with more than one person and during the game people will lag out constantly and when the game is
over the game kicks everyone out and back into their own lobbies. The the screen gets stuck on a black screen when loading to join a game or someone elses lobby from an invite.

BF4 and Ghosts

When you say call of duty 1 and 2 do you mean modern warfare 1 and 2 or really the first and second ones?

One Prestige Token max will be rewarded for each game you've prestiged at least once in, including Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, World At War, Modern Warfare 2, and Black Ops on the Xbox 360

If this is the only game you are running into problems with try
Uninstalling and Reinstalling the game.

Has there been an attempt to load up the 360 guide menu while the game is launched, and then while having the menu up visiting the Manage Storage
section in an attempt to delete the game and then load it again.

The process should be pressing the
View and Menu buttons at the same time.

Give this a shot and let us know if it works!

 

This unfortunately does not work as well

 

We are playing on the xbox one and it's not just me having this issue a ton of other people are having the same issue.

 

It seems as if several Xbox 360 Call of Duty titles are experiencing similar issues. You may want to contact the developer.

Indeed it is an issue that is affecting others as well, if you have tried steps and they have not worked I would suggest for you to check out

Activision Support since the issue is affecting various COD titles.
