Modern Warfare 2 Hackers preventing me from going online in the game

I was playing online when i was put in a team death match game but it turned out to be hackers who turned the game into search and destroy and they would have their buddies on separate teams so they could die then spectate to tell the other team where
we were. I was playing around and was like yeah i don't wanna be a part of your trick shot thing so i killed myself too all of a sudden i get booted from the game and now when i try to get into any games in any different game mode online the game freezes as
i'm connecting to a game.

Can they check the date the console signed in? Because it was only about an hour ago I let my friend recover to prevent the hacker from using my account. I have exactly how many hours ago I seen it playing on Modern warfare 2.

Can someone help a noob out, and explain what you guys mean when you say "hacker" or a "modded game?" I just started playing Xbox a few mo the ago, and so far stick to older games, my favorite online game is COD Modern Warfare 2, which I guess people say
is ruined from hackers? How do I notice a hacker so I can report them?

Games I legitimately miss are multiplayers. The population will never be the same and most old games are full of 'hackers'....COD 4: Modern Warfare, Modern Warfare 2, World at War.

I still have my 360 and go back to games like Red Dead Redemption, Borderlands and Far Cry 3...So I can't really miss those yet.

I enjoy the single players of the Modern Warfare series, however I have found that I haven't really enjoyed the game online since Call of Duty 4.

I think the single player has improoved where it needs to to keep it exciting, but has kept the story/main characters going which has made me keep coming back to them, but in my opinion the online has changed for the worse, especially between Modern Warfare
1 and 2 as I loved 1, and Modern Warfare 3 to me is pretty much just the same as 2 online. From all the hype before 3 about how it was being stripped back to what made the online good in the first place, I have definately been disappointed.
