    Modern Warfare 2 hacked online


    Playing Modern Warfare 2 online tonight, the game got hacked - the map didn't play after several loading attempts but I saw some blue text on the screen.

    I abandoned and joined another lobby with another map and when play started I noticed all my weapons etc had gone. I rebooted my Xbox 360 and it told me I had an old version of the game and had to reset ranks. There was no way to avoid it in order to play
    online and when I did all my weapons and achievments had gone.

    How can Microsoft investigate this and find the culprit and will my status be restored so I can get all my in-game weapons and acheivements back?

    Black Ops and Modern Warfare 2 were never hacked.

    When you say call of duty 1 and 2 do you mean modern warfare 1 and 2 or really the first and second ones?

    Battlefield is free of hacks especially when you compare it to how bad Modern Warfare 2 was with glitches and hacks.

    Not all of off the call of duties are that bad. Here's a list of how online is in terms of hacking/modding.



    Call of Duty 4 = BAD

    Call of Duty: World at War = VERY BAD

    Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 = OK

    Call of Duty: Black Ops = GREAT

    Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 = TBD

    In Modern Warfare 2, it is a glitch and or hack people are doing. Best to stay away from those lobbies and report them via the File Complaint option.
