Modern Warfare 2 Hacked and Offered No Support

Recently got hacked playing Modern Warfare 2. Can no longer join online games and rank was pushed to 70. When selecting Multi Player it shows 1100% Completed.

Tried support with Microsoft with no help and was referred to Activision. Activisions position is they do not offer support for this title due to its age.

So what files are actually corrupt when this hack occurs? Is special software needed to correct it?

hi i also am having the same problems i bought modern warfare 2 and i been playing it for ages and as of today it has been removed from my xbox go and redownload it and within a split second of it trying to download it says cant download modern warfare 2
could i been hacked but i have no idea

Sorry to hear it. Activision is aware of hacks within the CoD series but won't help with them even if it was the newest game in the series. I'm afraid that there's nothing that can be done to retrieve the XP you lost in the game. The best that I can offer
you, other than creating a new account, is to get some of your friends to invite you to their games. That will be the only way to get back into multiplayer on the affected account.

 

Creating a new account to play this game only opens yourself to be hacked again. Guess I'll be tossing it in the trash.
