    Modern Warfare 2: forced reinstall


    I purchased the vault edition of the latest call of duty and on 2 occasions, the game has frozen itself on 0% when updating before crashing the console and having to reinstall ALL 100GB of the game.

    This means I have had to install this game 3 times now, taking at a minimum 4 hours each time.

    Is there anyway to seek any sort of refund for this poor performance? I’ve checked all the troubleshooting steps and done everything I can to stop it happening but it doesn’t seem to help.

    I do have an external drive but the game is stored on my internal drive as it needs the optimisation

    I apologize for the trouble, this may mean that the game is corrupted. You've mentioned that you have performed troubleshooting steps but if I may ask, do you have an external hard drive plugged into your console? And is the game stored from there?

    We need to test it out because if you have performed all the necessary steps let's then try to play the game or access the console with the external hard drive unplugged to check if the game is corrupted and if it is the same issue will occur with the hard drive plugged in.
