I tried restarting my Xbox and pausing and restarted the update and even restarting my router unfortunately nothing would work which made me attempt to cancel the update and try it again, unbeknown to me this would delete the whole game, I just wish this
was made clear as a warning.

Not sure why Activision even sell the game in hard copy if 90% of the game has to be downloaded anyway, might as well have just made it a digital only download.

Sorry to hear you have run into this problems, this happens when a game update is stopped because the update is not only installing new files to an already installed game but it is in fact rewriting many of what has already been installed. This is done to
resolve any bugs with the game, adds features, or to prepare for new content, also helps prevent any corrupt data that could occur from cancelling the update mid install.

If you run into any game update installation issues in the future I would advise that you simply pause the installation and attempt to

Physically power cycle your Xbox One before resuming the update.

hi i also am having the same problems i bought modern warfare 2 and i been playing it for ages and as of today it has been removed from my xbox go and redownload it and within a split second of it trying to download it says cant download modern warfare 2
could i been hacked but i have no idea

My call of duty Infinite warfare gaming disc isn't being read by my xbox one console anymore. I did delete an account tho achievements and progress for my 2 other accounts are still saved. I've had this game for years, no scratches so that's not an issue. Modern warfare isn't reading either. These are the only 2. Is anyone having the same issue? Or what can I do besides the basic troubleshooting?

I have the same issue just with my xbox x. My cousin Gifted me Call of duty 4 modern warfare legacy edition which includes infinity warfare. now this is for xbox 1 and I don't have one for series x. and cod 4 still works but when I try to download infinity warfare it keeps saying. "Download canceled". can someone help orders someone know what to do?
