    Modern Warfare 1.7 GB update


    I am having problems downloading a 1.7 GB update. I assume it is the last update i need in order to play the game. I have 2 other updates for other games on my console and i am able to download those but for some reason i am unable to finish the download
    on MW. I have 181.79 MB of 1.70 GB downloaded.

    Try hard resetting your console. If that doesn't help, reset internet connection.

    Hello kaylanwheeler,

    Try to clean the xbox cache pressing the on/off button for 10 seconds, then try to restart your console.

    Verify the content dowloaded, and if you must try to re-download the updates as there are several "packs" that need to be downloaded.

    It's the decision of the publisher if they will allow the game on game pass or not. In this case it's Activision. Whether they would allow it on there is anyone's guess.

    Do you have multiple hard drives connected to your console (e.g. the internal drive and one or more external USB drives)?

    While the console shows the total free space, it might be that the drive where Modern Warfare is installed is actually 100% full

    For example:

    You have the internal 500GB drive which has 42 GB free.

    Then you have the external USB drive which only has 0.5 GB free and which has the installation of Modern Warfare.

    While your console shows 42.5 GB free, the external drive lacks 10 GB of free space to update the game installed there, as there are only 0.5 GB free.

    Please check in the storage settings which drive has Modern Warfare installed, and make sure that THIS drive has at least the required amount of free space.
