Moderators at World of Tanks Forum

Anytime anyone even mentions Ukraine, either their thread gets locked or they get banned or both. Posters from no other nationality get treated that way over there. Here are just a few examples:

I get that Wargaming.net is a Russian company and that Russia is attempting to conquer Ukraine. But, most Xbox gamers aren't Russian and are not at all accustomed to these kind of heavy handed tactics when simply trying to enjoy a game.

World of Tanks has no forums, and no clear place to post this. When you die it is not clear that you will leave the game or the battlefield. There is a major warning that you will incur some expense. If the game wants you to respawn, you should. It should
be auto. If you just sit there and fail watch the game, there should be some penalty. Currently, it looks like if you go afk to get a sandwich when you die, you win? I don't think you want to promote afk'ing in a game to win.

Cyprus is just a tax haven - Hence their purchase there of a bank as well. It probably also doesn't hurt in terms of getting around U.S. and European sanctions on Russian companies following Russia's illegal military attack on Ukraine.

 

just a couple of question, what has the ukrainian crisis to do with this game? and why can't ukrainian people team up for platoon? this is a digital game and not the real deal right? no offense intended with this.....

The Ukrainian crisis has nothing to do with the game, and Ukrainians can platoon up just fine. There are no restrictions like the OP said.
