    Moderator Help. Failure to honour Xbox Live promotion.


    In January, I purchased 3 months Xbox Live Gold during a promotion that gave a code for another 3 months Xbox Live Gold. I waited for my promotional code. I let my existing membership date pass, I let the
    newly purchased 3 months expiry date pass, I checked all email accounts, message centres and didn't receive a code. I enquired later in the year and was told to post on forums and was provided a link. I never received a reply. I got in touch again to complain
    and was told to post on forums, which I already had. I sent evidence of the promotional material, with expiry dates, I sent proof that my purchase was eligible for the promotion. I was told it would be escalated. Since this I have received two emails, several
    weeks apart, from your staff asking for patience on the issue, which she had escalated. In the meantime I received a reply on my forum post saying to contact support.

    I have now been in touch a third time and been told to post on forums, and that my original post was apparently in the wrong place (despite being sent a link by staff). I am now posting this forum post,
    in the hope that a moderator resolves this issue. I am not trying to cheat anything from Microsoft, I am just asking that they honour their promotion. Otherwise this is a clear breach of consumer law, and I shall look elsewhere for a resolution.

    Purchased 3 Month Xbox Live Promo and didn't receive Mercenary Pack.

    Hello,

    I purchased the 3 Month Xbox Live Subscription promotion on April 13 that included the Mercenary Pack. I still haven't received the code in my Xbox Live Messages. I talked to a Xbox Support Chat and they verified that I was eligible for the code and told
    me to come here and make a post so a moderator can help me out with the situation.

    Any help would be appreciated. Thank you so much!

    If you received an emailyou must continue to work with the agent from support as it is with the offline team

    Also should.be noted if you purchased the subscription with a prepaid code you failed to qualify as it counts as a previous purchase

    You must make the purchase with a payment option

    And you did post I .the wrong section

    Purchases and promotion is the one you need to post in

    The promotions team doesnt look in here

    Threatening a lawsuit only results in the thread being locked

    Thank you for your replies.

    I received two emails in total, thanking me for my patience and asking for more - that was months ago. I have emailed since (once or twice) asking for an update and that was weeks ago and I never received a reply.

    I didn't buy a prepaid card. I purchased directly, through a link via the offer, using my saved payment details.

    It was the wrong section originally. This is "Sales and Promotions", which I am sure is the right section.

    I wasn't threatening a lawsuit.

    Gamingboy177. Yes I have a reference. I'm not sure what the benefits are of sharing it until a staff/moderator gets in touch.

    I do understand your frustration, but unfortunately
    The moderators, ambassadors and volunteer moderators do not have the ability to manage or provide you with those codes.

    We recommend to contact a live support agent for further assistance, but since you already have just follow up with that agent.
    Since there is already a case with a live agent then all you need to do is wait for a resolution with them.

    Please let us know if you have any other questions

    I Still Haven't Recieved My Game

    You're not the only one waiting for promised games from an Xbox promotion. I've been waiting to receive two free games since February as well, and have been given the runaround by Xbox Live. Two days ago they informed me that they would not be honouring
    the promotion, and that was the end of that - and calling 18004MYXBOX was a complete waste of time.
