    Moderate NAT

My xbox 360 has been having issues connecting to multi player games recently and when I check the NAT is set to moderate. I have followed all the advice on allowing UPNP and opening ports however I still have the problem. I am using a Sagemcom F@st2504n
router wirelessly on Sky Broadband. Is there anything else I can do or am I stuck without buying a new modem or switching ISP?

    :)

does ethernet xbox one download faster?

and I were actually talking about this the other day.

In both of our situations, our NAT is moderate via wifi, but open via ethernet cable.

Sort of on topic: Will ethernet open up the NAT? Just changed routers and my NAT is now moderate vs. open before.

    Moderate NAT

    Hey there Aloriain!

Could you try assign your console's static IP in the DMZ of your router.

Whenever you configure static NAT, or use the DMZ on your router, make sure you only use one feature at a time.

So, for this to work properly, disable/turn off Port Forwarding/Virtual Server and UPnP and assign your console's static IP in the DMZ of your router.

If you would do this correctly, I recommend you to lower the end address of the DHCP's IP pool, which is dynamically assigned to machines/devices on your network. Then assign your console (static) with an address outside of this IP pool range.

    Keep us posted!
