    Hi there,

    So let me explain my situation:

    I have a Comcast gateway (modem and router combined), a Netgear Nighthawk X6 Router, and I also have a wi-fi range extender in my basement. I replaced my router a couple days ago with a brand new one, which is the same exact one that I had before, so I know
    the problem isn't the router itself (most likely the settings within the router). So before I got the new router, my NAT type was open, and I could use my range extender perfectly fine. Now all of a sudden my NAT type is moderate, but when I put my Comcast
    gateway in "Bridge Mode" (Disables wireless capability of the gateway and essentially makes it a modem), my NAT type turns Open and everything is perfect EXCEPT the wifi capability of my range extender is gone (since the gateway is in brigemode). I believe
    this may be due to a double NAT problem; but the thing is, I had the same exact setup before, with the same router and everything, and I used to have an open NAT type AND my range extender worked. This leads me to believe that there is a setting I have to
    change in either my Netgear router settings or my comcast gateway settings. Somehow when I replaced the router with a new one it must have reset some setting that I changed before.

    Now that I got that out of the way, here's what I tried so far.

    DMZ on a static IP for my xbox one

    Port forwarding all ports recommended

    Making NAT filtering open and disabling SIP ALG

    Enabling UPnP on both router and gateway

    The ONLY thing that seemed to open my NAT was when I put my gateway into bridge mode, but I need my gateway to have it's wireless ability for my range extender.

    Double NAT

    my NAT is moderate and right under it it says double NAT type detected. I have tried everything. Please help someone!!! This is driving me crazy.

    try to double check on your privacy and online safety and make sure it is set up to adult default. and try to check your NAT type if its open because sometimes if your NAT type is under strict or moderate possible problem with your connection contact 1-800-469-9269
    choose connectivity and representative will help you regards to that.

    I'll try tho and see even I could connect Mw2 online services and my nat type is moderate cause of Double Nat Detection XD

    I would double check the game. Some game modes don't support inviting players to that specific
    game mode. Hav you checked your NAT type? If your NAT type is moderate or strict, it can cause such problems. Hit your home button, tab over to settings, then network settings, and check NAT type
