modem/router (bell hub 2000) resets everytime i start xbox one

I have a bell hub 2000 modem/router. everytime (within the last 3 weeks) I start my xbox one the modem/router starts to reset during that time i cant log in to my profile. once it reset. i check my connection and nat and everything is fine. my nat
is open. i try to go in bf4 or any other multiplayer game and modem/router resets. sometimes I'm able to get into the game and then it resets again. Sometimes I get in the game and within 5 minutes it resets.it happens so much i can't even play. i tried different
routers and it happens with that also. when i first started with this moden/router it was great and the reason i got this one was because it was doing this on the old one. I live in ontario, canada and my isp provider is bell. I am wired connection. i did
static ip with port forwarding the same. i have a feeling it has to do with the xbox one cause when its off my computer ipads phones are all fine. any help would be appreciated tried everything i know hopefully some one has something i don't know

Linksys E4200/Bell Modem Open NAT Issue Xbox One

I currently have a linksys e4200 router and a bell modem, the bell home hub 2000. The modem has a wireless router feature but has been disabled long time ago. I am certain that i have had a open nat for a long time but recently i have noticed my NAT is moderate.

When i try and port forward the required ports for xbox live, my router just stops functioning properly and all my devices at home have an issue with connecting to the router unless i reset the router all over again.

I am finding it difficult to properly follow guides on google as there is a LOT of conflicting information or people who are not explaining it properly. I need to know what i can do to ensure that my xbox can have the open nat it had in the past. if there
are optimal settings for the router I need to know about to ensure my gaming experience is tip top please do let me know ! i am desperate ....

Need help with xbox live

My xbox(s) have been messin up lately, The wireless one used to do this alot but now my hard wired one right to the router doesnt like connecting have the time even tho we have internet going.. i think there is issues with XBL period lately. Best bet man is unplug your router and modem, wait a min then plug just your modem.. let it turn on and go online, then plug in your router. reset ur box and see if it works

 

Hi, I had this same issue with the same router and I was not able to get any info as to why it did this, it was just like what happened to you it was fine for the first bit but then it started resetting itself. The only way that I was able to get it to stop
doing it was if I reset the router every time I wanted to play Xbox but that would only work part of the time. Im not sure what causes it but my final soultion was having to get a new router from my ISP.

 

Hi, so it might be a problem with your ISP. You're ISP is able to remote reset your modem which could be the reason your modem resets every time your Xbox is connected. My suggestion would be to give your ISP a call and see what they say about the issue.

 

Have any of you found a solution to this? I recently moved and now have the Bell HomeHub 2000, and I too have noticed that when using the Xbox, I often have my router reset on me. It's very frustrating. It did not happen with the old Bell router. If
there's a setting which could prevent this, I'd love to find out.
