Modem choices? Xfinity(emta modem) with multiple console support

Hey I am switching services to Xfinity(Comcast) and I have to have a emta modem. The people at best buy said I should get the tg862g-ct but I looked in the networking hardware information and it says it does not support multiple xbox 360 and was wondering
what emta modem will support multiple 360. I will have 2 xbox 360's, 3 computers, and other devices connected most of the time. My question is what emta modem/router is their that supports 2 or more consoles one will be connected by wi-fi and the other by
Ethernet. I will have 105/mbps down and 10mbps. In the networking hardwre fourm it says it will not work all the time with open nat how often will it not have open nat.

Cannot connect to wireless network

There is an ongoing issue with the firmware of this device if its provided by Comast which flashes their own firmware. I recommend that you contact Comcast and have it placed in bridge mode and get your own router. Or have it replaced with a modem (or EMTA
if you have Xfinity Voice Service).

Need Recommendations for Modem/ Router (Or Modem Router Combo?) For Gaming and Streaming in 4K

I just got this modem:

NETGEAR CM400 (8x4) DOCSIS 3.0 Cable Modem. Max download speeds of 340Mbps. Certified for Xfinity from Comcast, Spectrum, Cox, Cablevision & more (CM400-1AZNAS)

Does that modem seem decent enough? Please help.

Also... any specific router recommendations? Look for something that doesn’t drop devices and delivers fast WiFi and wired connections.

We do not know of any gateways that support more than one console, but you can put the gateway in bridge mode and get a router that does support multiple consoles! Here is a list of routers from our

Router Forum that we have tested. I recommend checking those out to find one that supports multiple consoles and doesn't have any known issues!

Im having the same issue, I going to guess you rent your modem from xfinity or your ISP? It's the modem causing the issue, I am currently waiting for a third party modem in the mail. Then I can get off Xfinity since they rent my modem out at my expense
anyway. My clash of clans fails until I cycle the power on my Xfinity modem , my cell phone wireless does the same as does my Roku.

Xfinity is garbage , at least in my case, the dictate your modem , they allow others to connect to your modem, I paid 119.00 for my modem and its 15 a month to rent xfinity. Ill make my money back soon

Are you connected to a router that connects to the modem? I don't understand how you can have NAT issues if you are connected directly to that model of modem as its just a standard modem
