Modding - Getting Worse

Reporting and acting on cheaters is a difficult matter.

The thing is, that by reporting, you "only" did the first step.

The Enforcement Team however has to actually observe the person cheating while they are looking. Otherwise I could simply report you as a cheater, because I'm frustrated I lost against you in a match.

So simply reporting a cheater won't get them banned immediately. Reporting someone for cheating will put them on a watch list for the Enforcement Team, and they will observe that player. If they find that this account is really cheating, they will act on
that.

However, if they see the person playing normally, without hints at cheating, they can't and won't do anything.

If you play on Xbox One, and you could capture video evidence of the person cheating, you could upload that video to your OneDrive, and link to that video in your report. That would speed up the confirmation process.

If you are playing on the original black ops there's really nothing Microsoft can do, If its a newer version I recommend talking to a support member from the developer.

PlayStation does suck - Just frustrated at the mo. Luckily the ppl within the network do report and we have managed to keep the modders out, just one person at the mo has seen to bypass our reporting.
