Is it possible to mod Xbox one games? I downloaded a mod onto a USB drive and put it into the console. How can I access the mod?

Hi,

You can't. Xbox One can not read storage devices in this way. Unless a game has mod support within the title, there is no way to download or install a mod externally.

@CHORAS DEN how wont they if a game like and as complicated as fallout 4 will get mods on console such as xbox one and if one game will get mods games like minecraft on console which people as shown on that link have been wanting mods on it for aegis.

now one game is doing it on console there is nothing saying minecraft wont get mods i play pc version aswell as console version but as saying it has the possibility of having mods.

Are you playing the game on PC or on Xbox?

If you play it on console, you're limited to those Mods you get from the in-game Mod Marketplace. If there is no such mod, you can't get it on console.

I believe any kind of modding/or talking about modding is against the rules. It's still system tampering

do not complain about other members on the forums, if you feel the player should be banned file a complaint via your xbox. and DO NOT post other gamertags on the forums.

also modded controllers are not violating the xbox t&c, they only break in-game t&c.
