Modders

i have extreme difficulty finding a public match in most games that is NOT infested with people using modded weapons or hacking in some way.
Why isn't someone doing something about people who cheat to win?
everything I have I earned with skill, trial and error, and i enjoy the games alot, but this is increasingly frustrating with people who use God mode, aim bots and various other cheats to get their levels.

The titles get old and the publisher sees no point in trying to combat the people using mods made by black hats. It sucks, but that's just how the cookie crumbles for the Call of Duty series as the year life cycle for every title
comes to an end.

 

same for every game i have, including GTA5... i have no doubt Ghost also has plenty of modders

not to mention many of the hacks involve modding the xbox itself, which becomes Microsoft problem, not the publisher

 

Report these people via the console. I don't think cheating will ever be completely eradicated, but every little bit helps get rid of these people. Personally, I would also avoid playing Call of Duty games. They seem like havens for this type of activity.

 

You need to learn there is more to gaming than call of duty.

The developers do not care about their games once they have your money.

Well an other issue is, many of these people who you are raging at for being modders, are most likely just better than you at the game. Naturally you believe this to be an impossibility. The only reasonable conclusion is that they must be modders. I can't
even count how many times I've been sent messages being called a modder, hacker, glitcher, just because I went around pooping on kids in Titanfall. I take it as a compliment now.

 

I think hacks are allowed to stay in games to get gamers moving on to buying new games that have no hacks in them yet (especially with COD series). And I agree, once the developers have your money, then after about 6 or so months down the road the cheaters
come in.

I have reported so many people, and some of them had actions performed on them by XBL staff (got the 'thank you' messages), but many people had no actions done on them. So this leads me to believe you can get away with hacking and modding all you want just
don't over due it and you won't get banned.

 

I don't play many online games, but I have played a lot of Titanfall lately and I don't recall seeing any cheaters.

 

Yeah older games will be modded like crazy. From time to time I'll go back to CoD 4 and it's always hacked. I sometimes get into legit lobby's but it's not always good.

If all you can find is modded games, you're doing it wrong IMO.

Play with friends to pervent such issues or, maybe try other games. If you do find cheaters, Go ahead and Report then Block unwanted players.
