Modded Lobby Xbox Live Suspension

This morning my friends xbox live account was suspended because of cheating in a gta lobby. He randomly joined a gta lobby and was playing with his other friends when he was given a lot of money, He immediately left and the next day was suspended.

Xbox Live account is suspended!

Knowingly taking part in a modded lobby is an offense.

You have to ride out your suspension and be thankful it wasn't a complete ban.

 

Banned unfairly.

he was not console banned he was temp banned for 2 weeks probably for being in the modded lobby. to the OP if you participate in a modded lobby you can be suspended or banned next time you know your in a modded lobby exit back to the dashboard or turn off
the 360 console so you do not participate and get suspended again, the enforcement team will not reverse a suspension you will just have to wait it out sorry.

 

There is a good lesson to be learned here. This is why I only play invite only.

Even then I doubt they will lift it..

 

This is the danger of joining any public lobby for any online game... you never know if it'll be a legitimate lobby or a modded lobby. Every time I join a public lobby now, I go to my garage first as I have seen the radar dish from the airport cutting down
into my garage, indicating to myself a modded lobby. Or, jump into any body of water and if your character is walking around, leave immediately.

Like BAD 2020 said, Invite Only lobbies are your best bet.

 

Eh, Ive glitched through walls and floors and have had the water glitch in a private lobby before.

To the OP your friend can contact Rockstar and tell them what happened and request that the modded money be deleted from his account. Unless he already spent it of course in which then he deserves his ban.

 

@Bad, read the last thing Death wrote. He wrote that running under water was a sign the lobby was hacked.

Back on topic, I wonder if theres such a thing in GTAV with RMT. I see it all the time in MMO, but in a console game ?

 

If you were banned/suspended from XBOX Live, and you really feel it was for no reason, contact the XBOX enforcements team.

 

A water glitch and walking under water are separate things. Perhaps you could have been more specific
