Modded Lobbies : Beware

Was just in a lobby with a player named [Mod Removed]. I was playing Domination, when a bar of text flashed across my screen, advertising $10 to mod your whole profile. I ignored this and captured A, when I did this I was instantly leveled
from 24 to 60 and removed from the game. After being removed from the game, a box of text that looked like a notification within the game, popped up advertising this same service. Seeing as the person's gamertag looks to be a throwaway, randomly generated
name, it may be changed pretty soon anyway. I am just trying to inform people of what is happening, as many of them already know. Hackers/Modders ruin this game for those of us who want to play it the way it was intended to be played.

[/quote]Its almost impossible for them to not let hacks in. No matter how secure your code is, there is somebody out there that can hack it if they really want to. The real thing to worry about here is if and how fast IW can rectify the situation. Here's
hoping they can and that it is fairly quick.

[/quote]Ask Sony how possible it is to get hacked when you think your system is unhackable. If they want to hack you they will find a way.

We'll, this is a 360 forum...so figure it out. Also, I don't understand why the gamer tag was removed when I called XBOX and they told me to make this thread.

 

^^Well, figure it out. You are NOT suppossed to "name and shame" people via their gamertags on THIS forum.

 

Just remember if you get in a modded or suspicious lobby to dashboard rather than just backing out.

 

You would think after NINE YEARS
the Game Developers would have figured out how to secure their servers against hacking/modding. This wouldn't be an issue on Ghosts if IW actually gave us those DEDICATED SERVERS they have been promising since BEFORE release.

I mostly only play Hardcore Modes and haven't seen any hacking/modding.
