MOD's used to be a great way to extend the life of a video game.

But if you think Console Gamers are self entitled over some of the rants and screams they have nothing can prepare you for the juvenile baby whining cry-fest that is the world of PC gaming (Don't know what I mean? Go google what happened when Wizards Of
The Coast released "Magic: 2015" on iTunes a week before PC... or better yet, the Community response to 'nipples' being removed from the characters in 'Oblvion').

Just because you can do something doesn't mean you should.

But too many PC gamers not only feel it's their right to twist and turn an artists product into some Frankenstein's monster of how they would have made the game... but many refuse to even play the artist's original work until a pre-play check-list of MODs
have been applied in the first place so that they can finally sit down and play the greatest game they've never actually played in good conscience.

I hope,Bethesda will try to fix and improve the game before releasing anything new.

    ....

A mod that allows me to see my weapon on my character, would be cool.(Similar to Fallout 3/NV)

And another one that improve third person controls, feeling, gameplay.Something close to 2015 standard. That would be great too.

Maybe play the game a bit more before you make inaccurate statements, the controls, feeling and gameplay are all improved. You have hardly touched it but slate it at every opportunity both now and before the game was released.

Its not the game that need improving its your attitude towards it in my opinion Tzar, I normally agree with your take on games but you have shown your Fallout colours months before it was released and now just regurgitate the same viewpoint when you haven't
even scratched the surface of this game. I expect this nonsense from another forum user but thought better of your opinions.

I played through the vanilla game on pc, then applied some mods for a second playthrough. The mods I used actually helped the game run and look nicer with absolutely zero hit to performance.

If you can get mods like this on console, you'll be in for a treat.

Also tried better lighting/darker nights mod, love the more realistic night times. There is already tons of mods available, I looking forward to seeing how this plays out on console.

It must be awful being a PC gamer.

A game comes out and you're not allowed to enjoy it because the internet pointed out that it's not running at 8K UHD.

Then you stumble across some techno-babble about textures and shading and you've another bone to pick with the game.

By the time you're done... you've ended up spending more time criticising and moaning about the game than you did actually playing it (once the appropriate "Must Have" MODs had fixed the problems with the game's graphics, story, resolution, UI and added
a comedy sword and topless female characters as an accidental side effect).

That's why MODs on "Fallout 4" should be something to look forward to.

They'll build upon a great product instead of trying to re-shape it into a twisted image or arrogantly try to "fix" stuff somebody else told you was wrong with it.

Az.... You speak absolute rubbish and have obviously no knowledge about modding and how in most cases it can make the game's better and run smoother.

You know the settlement crafting system that you seem to hate in Fallout 4? Well guess what? There are a number of mods that expand on the system and actually make it more user friendly.

Mods aren't all about turning dragons in Skyrim into my little pony's.

I'll give you another positive example of how mods can make games better Az. I have seen you say many times, that games are no longer enjoyable on previous gen systems because they look dated. Well, I bought Skyrim and used a few mods not long back, the
end result was a game that looked better than a lot of current gen games, I was actually in shock at how pretty it looked.

I'm doing the same with The Witcher 3 now, added a few mods and it looks even better than originally did, and it already looked stunning.

This is a great example of someone who doesn't understand what they're talking about trying to correct something that's not broken.

I don't hate the crafting system in "Fallout 4" and actually enjoy the game even if it fell a bit short of my expectations that's hardly a reason to cross my arms, pull a face and sit down in a huff until some self appointed game saviour comes and MODs my
    personal taste into the game.

Also it goes without saying that MODs can improve performance for some machines.

Again though at the risk of making a presumptuous statement...

Gamers are going to be more interested in expanding and enjoying their games than sorting out a tick list of what the internet told them is wrong with something they would otherwise be enjoying.

You take every opportunity to have a dig at Fallout 4, you brought it up for no reason in your Ark thread, and that thread was only an attempt to make out Live is better than Steam.

There's no need to take this over protective stance about the X1 and Live. I still see myself as a console gamer who thoroughly enjoys pc gaming, so it's easy for me to see the good that can come out of this. To try and say that pc gamers are never happy
and have to mod games until they become unrecognisable is daft. I play sat on my sofa at 1080p on a big screen TV just like most console only gamers do, the only difference is that I have alot more options while playing pc.

I play and still playing it....Also i don't need 100 hours to have an opinion.....For example few hours after playing Witcher 3 ( and most games) i wrote why it was so great and it didn't seems to bother you if i had enough playtime or if i was wrong (
    maybe i was).

In your eyes,it's a Bethesda game so it's perfect.....and everybody must be agree.

Did i said it wasn't improved? Nope.I said 3rd person needs improvement.Even if they tried,it's not great. And still not as good as some other 3rd person (and no,for "a game of that scale",isn't an excuse) Not the first Fallout (or Elder Scrolls) made by
    Bethesda.

And i got an opinion on Fallout 4 before release ,mainly because i saw what they did with Elder Scrolls....And i wasn't wrong. Both franchise becomes more and more casuals and not much effort are put to improve things....or to keep some cool features

    .....

About, scraching the surface.....It doesn't matter.I just spend over 250 hrs on MGS V.And my opinion isn't great about it.With or without "scraching the surface".

But maybe at the end of the month (i should have around 200hrs on Fallout 4),you might stop replying to my post by making offtopic post.

    .......

My opinions are nonsense and always wrong....So ask yourself the right questions when you're agree with something that i wrote.

    ....

In the mods,i will add :the possiblity to have a "god" point of view when doing settlements. It's fine inside houses but outside it's not easy to see or move elements.
