[Mod Removed - See post for more info] -- Modder using DDOS and Ping of Death

Forum Guidelines.] is using DDOS software as well as the Ping Of **** disrupt, Destroy other gamers consoles and Internet Modems. I called Xbox Customer support and explained he was using mods to mask his appearance from other gamers to the point
you do not see he is online playing through the dash board but you can see him directly in-front of you in the game lobby. Stated to the rep that a gamer on XBOX is DDOSing and sending the Ping Of Death out to other gamers. I called Xbox customer service and
was reminded that I play at my own risk and there is nothing Xbox or Microsoft can do about this issue. The gamer remotely destroyed our Xbox1 we purcheshed new in November 2016 and 2 Time Warner modems in the process. While having the first modem replaced
by the Time Warner rep more attacks occured from the same IP Address that [Mod Removed] was using to attack my equipment previously from. I recorded the Xbox customer service rep telling me that Xbox cant do anything about
it and it is at my risk when I play online gaming through Xbox Live Gold. Hard to believe since I am buying Xbox equipment and using Xbox live's servers to play with other gamers that Xbox can not do anything about it. You can go online and listen to the recording
of the Xbox customer service rep telling me it is at our own risk that we play online games through Xbox Live.

So apparently psn was hacked today

A DDoS Attack is not a "hack"; mod please lock thread

EDIT: On note, DDoS is a Denial of Service; literally all they did was send bots at Sony's servers to ping it and Sony's (and Microsoft's, etc...) Establish a ping as an intrusion automatically... Learn your computer knowledge

 

i am being set up as a modder.need help

if any more proof was needed as to how slow microsoft act.

i registered with ttg to post a message saying i am not a modder ,hate all modders and someone is posting fake threads in my name,within 2 minutes the post was removed and my ip address was banned from their site.

2 minutes!!!!!!!! i reported this modder a month ago,hes still here posting links to mods.

 

Please use the report button on the console to report users you feel are breaking the code of conduct. That is the only way the enforcement team can investigate. If you are the victom of a DDoS attack you should contact your ISP to assist in changing your
IP.
