Mobile purchase?

Apparently the August update included the ability to purchase things for x1 via mobile,I have tried on ipad and iphone and can not see how this is possible am I not seeing something?

Tapatalk for Mobile

I do think that tapatalk would be very nice for this forum. It is easier to connect to this forum and get notified of the latest happenings here, posting will also be easier.

But for introducing tapatalk, this forum must be using a supported tapatalk platform like vbulletin.

This would be really very tough to change the complete platform for this forum and make a new one with no bugs in it.

Until the iOS Smartglass gets a new update then the only way to do it is via Xbox.com store ( desktop version ) of your phone. I tried it during update preview, it works. Hopefully the iOS update comes soon to make it easier.

Haha, you're all good. Windows phones are the only ones with Beta Smartglass and that is still waiting to be signed off. Shouldn't be much longer. This is my most wanted feature.

 

Yes mine to when I seen what was the update list this was all I was happy for .on the spot compulsive purchases you can't beat that haha

 

@Rippen thats false. Android and WP has the smartglass beta. iOS does not, as Apple does not allow beta software on itunes.

 

I need at least 6 hours Download time for the big games so I want to purchase at work on release day and start the download, rather than come home to turn the console on and trigger it. Glad I'm not the only one excited.

Thanks 24 I didn't realise android got beta aswell. Never mind my IPhone just updated Smartglass!!! It's here!!!

 

I updated smartglass this morning on my s4 and it works good.

 

Just make sure you are using the Xbox Smartglass BETA version... not the original one that came out on release last Nov..

I have used it and tested it... works great.. can finally DL a game from work... have it ready to go when I get home

 

Update to the non-beta versions has dropped on Windows and Windows Phone.

 

Gah, neither my WinPhone nor tablet are getting any Smartglass updates.

Actually, I'm not seeing any changes on my X1 yet, either, even though there's a video on the dashboard showcasing the update. No manual update, either.

Does it take a few days to roll out, for the general public?
