mobile hotspot

Not sure if this is the right place or not, but here goes. So I currently don't have internet and I am looking at getting Mobil hotspot on my phone plan. I will be able to get 2.5gb of data at 4g speeds per month. I am curious if that would be enough to
download updates and addons, as well as play online a couple nights a week.

Hey mate, feel free to give
this guide a try for the DNS error. However, you may have better results if you try connecting your PC to the net through the hotspot, and then bridging the connection to your Xbox 360 console.

i have a motorolla atrix with wifi hotspot and im trying to connect to xboxlive. i realize that the speeds probably wont be sufficient to do much but i just need to take care of a couple things. the xbox is able to recognize and connect but when it does
a test it gives me a dns server error. not sure if its the setting on the phone or what but if anyone has done this and has the settings it would be greatly appreciated.

 

That is enough, if you are a moderate gamer not drilling games 24/7, but if it's a smartphone use WiFi where possible

 

It is a smartphone, but it has unlimited data, but can only use 2.5 for the hotspot. And I would probably average 6-7 hours a week playing online. The rest would be for system updates, game patches and dlc.

 

So you have unlimited data, but using the hotspots your allowance, you have 2.5gb data, I get you now

My Xbox won't show my Dns and cuz of that It won't let me connect to my hotspot. If this isn't fixed I will not be able to play or download I can't even sign into my account.
