Moana bought but doesn't play

I purchased the Moana pre-order which said it would be available today. Low and behold I try to play it today and it doesn't work. Gives me error code: c101a3ff which doesn't correlate to anything.

Microsoft is good at TAKING the reservation they just don't KEEP the reservation. This is a Seinfeld episode.

Playback error code c101a3ff

I just purchased Moana from Xbox Movies & TV which came out today, February 21. But when I went ot play it back, it gave me the c101a3ff playback error code. I've attempted to search for the code, but haven't had any success. Somebody please help, as I'm
pretty frustrated to have bought something I can't watch. When I try to download it, it says the item is not there.

I am also having this problem.

Also before I was getting the error and the videos would play, some of them were glitchy and wouldn't play back at the normal frame rate. It wasn't my internet. It would only do it to a few movies, like Toy Story 1, but it wouldn't happen with Moana or Frozen.
Not sure if this problem is related or if it's just a bad copy on Microsoft servers? 🤷‍♂️

For any third party hardware your best bet is checking with the manafacturer for compatability and even then its not guarenteed. After a quick internet search the only thing I could find was the MAONO AU-A1 which says it’s supported for xbox one with the
xbox stereo adapter which is not included with it (If you’ll get full functionality with the built in jack on newer controllers is not specified.) So manafacturer says that it is supported for the xbox but its never a certainty.

I bought it on minecraftdungeons.net and it doesn't show as bought in the Xbox app.

I can only play it in the launcher.

Can you verify a few things for me before I begin to investigate?

Are you launching the game through the Xbox App or the Microsoft Store app? If using the Microsoft Store app, I suggest using the Xbox app.

Can you verify that the Xbox app and the gaming services are updated to their most recent versions? You can do that by following the steps below:

Open the Xbox App
Click your profile icon at the top right corner of the page
Select "Settings"
Select "About" on the left panel

The first set of numbers under "Version" will display the current version of your Xbox App.

Current versions:

Xbox App: 2112.1001.10.0

Gaming Services: 3.60.12001.0

Have to tried updating the game in the Xbox app?

Is the account that purchased the content signed into whichever app you are launching the game from? If so, have you tried signing out and signing back in?

Did you purchase the SnowRunner – Year 1 Pass (Windows 10) version and not the SnowRunner – Year 1 Pass for console?
