I want here to bring to the discussion of the society issues related to video games with simulations of real war (MMO). In particular, I'm talking about Elder Scrolls Online, which was acquired by Microsoft.

I don't know if the owners of Microsoft themselves play this game, and how much they themselves understand what they have purchased. I will speak as someone who has been in the reality of this game since March 2015. During this time, I have studied this product very well. And I believe that I can already express my opinion about it. In fact, I have a "higher education" in this matter.

At the moment, there are several issues that cannot be resolved by simply writing to "Game Technical Support".

1. There is almost no response from the development studio in response to reports of problems in this game

2. Also, I would like to ask your developer company to remove the restriction on the list of trolls in the game account, and not add a player from this list to my Random Group in Dungeons.

The very possibility of harassment, humiliation in this game was created by the developers of this game themselves. They created this feature by intentionally limiting the ability to blacklist the aggressor troll in the game account. At the moment, this list can only contain 100 players. Let me remind you that this game officially has 18,000,000 game accounts. And if some player is not your friend in this game, then this is a potential enemy. Don't deny it. Such is real life too.

3. Remove restrictions on purchases in the Game Store for players from Rossija. We are not to blame that our government in Moscow is a cannibalistic monster.

I want to clarify for the US and Microsoft in particular. Inside this game, even now I can buy everything I need for real money. The ban on in-game purchases for players from Rossija simply created losses for Microsoft itself. You have not achieved the improvement of this world. You just hurt yourself because you acted formulaic and without a serious analysis of the situation.

In general, the division of players into political borders (states) should be removed. This introduces an element of political conflict and hatred between the players in this game. A typical example is the conflict in Ukraine.

4. On the topic of blocking (banning) player accounts. All these years, the punitive policy of the company that owns the game has been cruel, senseless and not transparent. The player invests thousands of dollars and his life in the game, and gets banned in the game (all money is lost, life is thrown into the trash) just at the moment when they wrote dirty rudeness in a private chat (one on one) and you answered the troll in his language, mirror .



I believe that only the players themselves can ban players. I'm talking about a community of players in a specific country, which can be created in any international social network.

Or the owner of the game must sell the game according to identity documents, according to the passport, and ban the player precisely according to personal documents. This will close the possibility of bringing the cannibal troll back into the game.

Also, all cases of online aggression should be referred to the local courts where the offender lives, and treated as a crime.

That is why it is important to have an office representation of this game, at least in a social network where the player is registered according to documents.

And finally. let's be honest.

This game is 18+, everyone who came here knew that this is a game for adults, this is a game with violence. They kill in war. In war they can swear, yes. You didn't know about it?

An arms dealer cannot remain innocent, stay out of the war. If you are selling an instrument of war, you are also responsible for the war.
