MMO Question

Anyone know of any good mmog (massive multiplayer online games)

I know the ps3 has dc online universe, but im with the xbox now and so far, I don't really know of any games that allow a bunch of people to play at once. dc online universe is fun and all, but I have come to realize the truth between xbox and playstation.
I guess its my opinion, but I see that xbox has more better games than the playstation. dc online universe is huge yea, but gosh, so limited. I hear of a game call defiance that can be played on the xbox but what is that? and are there any other mmog games
out there?

Chat is only in Fire Squad so you are good there. As for others adding you, I doubt many will, I have yet gotten a FR from anyone with the exception of one dude. The most I have seen with the exception of the Towers is maybe 4-6 players in any given area
of a map, so I wouldn't worry too much!

 

MMO question...

I'm not a social gamer by choice... when playing this game, when you are in missions (story, strike?) does the game automatically let other players play in parallel with you in the mission, able to revive you, kill same enemies, etc, but without the need
to communicate with them? I just don't want to have a massive friend's list filled with people I don't really know or want to know, just to play this game...

 

There really isn't a lot of MMO games on the console market that i know off. It was more of a computer market, but there have been a few MMO games that have be released. Defiance is the main MMO out for the 360 that comes to mind, it is a -Third person shooter,
sci-fi ,open world game. It was fun, but can get repetitive if you cant make use of all the features "Exploring, racing, Trials, story, pvp, ect." in my opinion. If you like shooters, and can get a group for it~ Try it. It's a cheap game. For the next generation
consoles MMOs should be more common. An MMO coming soon is ESO "Elder Scrolls online" But that's next gen. Im not total sure about TC: The divsion, and Bungies new game "Destiny". But its going to be heavy on multi-player or at least MMO like.

TLR Yeah defiance is going to be the main MMO game for the 360 at the moment.

 

Just to add onto what Twisted Koel has said, Destiny is considered to be a 'Shared World Shooter' rather than an MMO. I am not 100% sure what that means but the popular belief is that it will be a tiny bit like MMO but not as vast and open. Past that, I
don't know much else. Sorry bro.
