MLG App in Germany

Hello,

currently the MLG App for XBox One is only available in N/A and Great Britain. This means that people and players in Germany are not able to watch this App. The main reason seems to be the language barrier, but to be fair most players and people in Germany
are able to understand english and are highly interested in competitive eSports. For example when a famous german CoD player streams on twitch over 8.000 viewers are watching. But we would also be highly interested in watching amercian Pro Teams like OpTic,
Evil Geniuses, enVy, FaZe and many more via the XBox One.

This restriction for the german region is very annoying. That´s why I´m wondering whether it would be possible to speedup the release of the App. Currently whether MLG nor Microsoft gave any information about this, so I and many others would really appreciate
the opportunity to get this app or at least be able to vote for or against a release any time soon.

I really hope to get some intel information, because after talking to both Microsoft and MLG both said they can´t name ANY REASON why it is not published yet.

MLG.TV on Xbox One not working

I tried the app myself the other day and deleted it about 5 minutes later. All I saw were advertisements, a few videos of people talking about MLG players at recent events (which I don't really care about), and there were also links to MLG players livestreams,
which I don't need to watch because I can already do that with the Twitch app. The MLG app, IMO, is only for people who are hardcore fans of the MLG and nobody else...

 

Germany - SkyGo app missing

not sure if this the answer you are looking for, but this is AFAIK up to Sky Germany. I already sent them an E-Mail yesterday with the same question. I would suggest you do the same so that they know there are people that want it.

I also checked the situation on the British Sky because I think they share a codebase and found a Statement on their support forums:

I recommend going to the feedback site and posting request its availability in Germany. Get everyone you know in Germany to vote for it and I see no reason why it shouldn't succeed.

 

Well, you can download all US apps! I have i.e. the NFL app installed. You just Need to set your console Region to USA and you will be able to download all apps that are released in Nort America.

Afterwards you can Switch back to german Settings and the apps will still be there. Some apps won't work because of Copyright restrictions (mostly TV and movie apps).
