I'm looking forward to using the MLB.tv app.

This is true. What you should do is contact the MLB.tv support pages through the link I provided. Perhaps they are unaware of this issue.

The MLB.tv app does have a Blackout policy which can be read at the bottom of the page linked below

Well I checked it out.

There is a subscription fee for it but that's only if you're baseball mad and want to watch 2,000+ games a year (baseball regular season is 162 games long and there's 30 teams).

If you're not, however, there's a Free Game of the Day that you can watch Live (if you happen to have insomia, it's shown at 2am lol) or you can watch at a more reasonable time. There's also a 2 minute Recap/Highlights segment for each MLB game played that
day.

Since the basebal season has games shown 6 out of 7 days of the week I think it's great value if you just happen to like US sports (as I do). That means I get 6 Free games and recaps of other games.

I don't think the launched it here to appeal to anyone. If you like baseball, it's great. If you don't, no loss.
