MLB The Show online multiplayer

I have an Xbox Live acct and a One S, and MLB The Show 21. MLB The Show 21 says it has "Online multiplayer (2-8)".

I know myself and guests can play on Halo on same console online against others online, but how can I play with guests on same console online on The Show?

Basically, my son and I want to know how to play The Show online against others.

It appears it's basically 1v1. In Home Run Derby it can be 2-8 players online but can't have more than one local players on console.

MLB the show is an online game, meaning it does require Xbox Live to play online. That's the reason you are receiving the Game Pass notification, you can either subscribe to it or to the Xbox Live (Xbox Live Gold: Multiplayer for Everyone | Xbox) alone to be able to play the game online. Yes other games such as rocket league, MLB the show, stranded deep, and others all work for multiplayer except for Minecraft. But Minecraft is specifically saying that it is the settings that are blocking me from playing

I was told by a Microsoft Rep if you got the MLB The Show 21 Jackie Robinson Deluxe Disc version the add-on code won't work until 4/20. What time on 4\20 I don't know.

Seems like those that got MLB the Show Jackie Robinson Edition Digital version was able to get the add-on content because it was tied to the MLB The Show 21 game code.

So we paid extra to get that MLB The Show New Era Cap and play the regular version of MLB The Show 21 four days early. SMH

why done't microsoft get mlb the show. Baseball is the biggest sport in america. RIB base is a joke cuz it sucks. BUY MLB THE SHOW and make it available on xbox
