Why are the major league basball clothing items not available for female avatarsOnly baseball caps, gloves and props are available to female avatars

This makes no sense and is in my opinion sexist as it makes it look like the avatar designers think women are not able to wear baseball clothing.

I'm a girl and I like sports. Why the sexism xbox?

This is the first I heard of jerseys not being available for female avatars. Thats pretty weak. I'll look in to it and see if I can find out what gives.

NHL Jersey's For Female Characters

Good day,

I am a female games and have owned an xbox account since 2007. I recently noticed you've finally gotten the licensing for NHL gear on xbox which made me ultra excited to purchase a jersey for my avatar. While on the market place on my computer I was unaware
I could see clothing for me and women. So when I tried to buy the jersey and it wouldn't let me. I got confused and finally noticed the small font stating: "item not available in your gender". I have a serious problem with this. You have NBA and MLB jersey's
available for female avatars and not NHL jerseys? I feel like this is a little sexist to assume that females would not want to purchase a jersey of there favourite NHL team. I'm sure its only small amount of codes to allow the jerseys to be made available
for female avatars.

I honestly believe I should not have to post this here as it should have never been an issue... but here we are. If someone could give me a reasonable answer as to why xbox has decided to be sexist in deciding only to offer the women players the opportunity
to purchase this item. I'm all ears. I have been waiting for NHL clothing to come out for my avatar since you've started to release sports clothing for avatars.

I look forward to hearing an adequate response.

Indeed avatar NHL Jerseys are not available in female models for an odd reason. Hope for all the ladies out there who would like one that it'll be fixed to suit their needs.

Silly that they don't allow female avatars to have these. I thought it was really dumb when they added female characters to a male sport's game, but not allowing women to wear jerseys is just wrong.

I'm really glad you brought this back to attention Verbal since the other threads died. I, like you, was so excited to hear that I could finally put a Canucks jersey on my avatar only to find out I couldn't because I'm female.

I have spent some time since then trying to find out why, and if/ when they would become available to females. I have contacted both Microsoft and EA multiple time only to get no response, or be told to speak to someone else. It has done nothing but anger
me about this whole situation. If I can't have the jersey I at least want an answer as to why.

Hopefully the update on the 6th will put female jerseys in the marketplace. If not I guess I'm making some more phone calls.
