MLB Baseball

Just get a Playstation as well as your Xbox One then you can play exclusive titles like "The Show" that's how I did it last gen. I'm happy with Microsoft and very sad we don't have a Baseball game but then again there is always next season if EA jumps back
in the pool.

 

It's petty to not have a baseball game. Theirs specific fans, whether 1, 1,000, A million who love THEIR respective sports. People who feels connected to a sport, maybe played it their entire lives. Like I think their should be a Fight Night to compete w/
UFC. Theirs a huge fa base for traditional boxing video games. Long story short, if you aren't supplying games for the fans then what's the purpose? I've played baseball for 15 years of my 21 year existence. I can't live w/o a baseball game. But I hate Sony,

I've been pro Xbox since I can remember. Why shouldn't they make a baseball game for the hardcore fans who spent thousands of dollars on their systems? It's just not right

Why should Microsoft supply a game for something another company deemed not worth the cost to make? If you want to jump on somebody blame 2k for spending money to get exclusive rights to the MLB series and then driving it into the ground so most people didn't
want to buy it anymore. Microsoft should be held responsible for any of that and to think so shows just a complete lack of logic.

With that said...I do hope maybe we get the return of MVP Baseball next season or somebody else steps in and doesn't attempt to rush a pile of rubbish like RBI Baseball did.

I see Rugby 15 is coming out on Xbox One! The market for rugby has got to be higher than baseball, right? I find the excuse that the market is, "too small to develop a baseball game", as a cop out. Xbox can't compete against The Show and that's why they
are afraid of developing one. I switched to Xbox many years ago after having to send my PS1 in too many times. I may now be making the switch back!

This is a dead subject. The powers that be don't even care to say what the future of baseball is on Xbox One. Basically, they are alienating all baseball fans and telling them "we don't care, go buy a PS4." I did a lot of research and the PS4 hands down
is the console for sports fans to have. No reason to own an Xbox One if the majority of games you play are sports games. It's a no brainer, get the PS4. You will not regret it.

 

Baseball is not what it used to be. The fan base that play's baseball games is miniscule in comparison to Football, Basketball, or even Hockey. I would like to see a Baseball sim on Xbox One, I played every year's iteration. They are solid, take a bit
to long. And a full 162 game season is a grind, but to me it was rewarding when you finished.

I am disappointed in Take-Two discontinuing MLB 2K. However, you can't keep taking losses for an almost non-existent fan base.

If a new Baseball IP or even 2K (despite Take-Two saying there will not be another one) comes out, I will purchase it.

do you guys and gal have any idea how much games cost the developer to make a MBL game? You plot down millions of dollars to make the game. And then you need to paid millions to get the right for the MLB name. And then you need to paid millions of dollars
to paid the player union to used the likeness in the game. So you want do it every year. You need billions of dollars to just make one every year. And make less what you spend on the game itself. If I have enough to make a game. I would make a game that
will guarantee get my money back. If done right. And that a pool game with team base played in it. So you are losing money by making a game. That the most gamers don't want to played any more. Last time baseball rack in the millions like football and basketball
did. It was the SNES days of gaming. Because there where a lot of them when I was a kid. Now it not something developers will take there time to make any more. Because it does not make that one magic word they love. And that is millions. They loved there
millions more then Donald Trump loves his billions.
