MLB Baseball

Is XBOX ever going to come out with another baseball game? I was at my friends house the other day and played MLB The Show 14 on his PS4. The game was incredible from the graphics to the game play. Xbox did have Major League Baseball 2K in the past but those
games where so bad. The glitches in the game were horrible. I have seen RBI Baseball 14 and yeah it's a baseball game but not a real full on baseball game like The Show. I look on XBOX and see they have a cricket game coming out for XBOX. I feel it is insane
to have a Cricket game and not have a baseball game. The last descent baseball game XBOX had was MVP Baseball 2005. It has almost been ten years since there was a good baseball game for us on the XBOX.

So far I have been disappointed with the XBOX One, I can see the potential in it but after getting it and playing around with it for awhile I find myself on XBOX 360 more. I feel like most my time on XBOX One has been sitting in loading screens and having
problems with all my games. The apps that I have on XBOX One and XBOX 360 are run much better on the 360. I got NBA 2k14, and couldn't use half the game up until just recently the bugs where finally fixed. Assassin's Creed I have beaten and am tired of sitting
in the multiplayer menu for 30 minutes at a time not getting into a game, and being kicked out for no reasons. The download times on my XBOX could not be any slower and I have seen this is a problem with everyone. It is frustrating because I got the XBOX One
expecting Minecraft as well in March, but that didn't happen either. I like the Kinect but I would have rather gotten the new deal they have $399.00 than have spent so much at Christmas. I could be in the minority but I also didn't like Titanfall, it was fun
for a few games but I have already returned it. No campaign and still $60 for a COD want to be game, with Halo's mantis.

I do realize that it is early in Xbox Ones reign and that for sure it will get better, I also realize that it is the first year of the Xbox One and there is a definite period of working out the bugs. But things are going backwards: Halo 2 had clans, let
you get into games right away for the most part, most of the games now can't get those things done consistently. I am happy to see Halo 5: Guardians as they are taking there time to make the game which I think (hope) that will help the game be very more polished
when it comes out. Most of the games out so far this year for Xbox One has had a lot of kinks for me, which wouldn't be so bad but I'm still paying money as if they don't have kinks and they all work fine.

I think when people were concerned that the new XBOX wasn't giving enough attention to the games anymore and more about the "entertainment" may have had a point. It's tough to understand how our options are getting smaller on the console not bigger. It is
2014 and we don't have a baseball game. It's 2014 and we don't have a golf game. And I do realize that these issues are not necessarily XBOX but EA Sports and 2K Sports. But it is still very disappointing. Anyone think we will ever get a real baseball game
back?

Please can there be a MLB Official game next year?

Can we please have a legitmate MLB baseball game for xbox owners because last year the only baseball game on xbox that was new was RBI baseball and that game was not good at all i tried the demo and i did not like it one bit i am getting an xbox one in January
and i hope that we can get a official mlb game with amazing next gen graphics and gameplay along with fun modes whether 2K comes back to baseball or EA brings MVP baseball out of retirement and do to the fact mlb sports games may not be big sellers there are
many mlb fans that will buy PS4's just to get MLB the show now since xbox doesn't have a legitimate MLB game anymore so can Microsoft please talk to 2K or EA about getting xbox owners a MLB game that the community on Xbox can be exicited for

 

MLB 2K13

Ever since the MLB 2k franchise ended, there has not been a new simulation style baseball game on the Xbox one. I can speak for most people in the community that until their is a new baseball on Xbox, we should have MLB 2k13 backward
compatible so people can play a simulation style baseball game on the Xbox One.

 

Unfortunately I haven't heard anything about a new MLB game on any Xbox systems. It's kind of sad considering the last decent game they had was nearly a decade ago (MVP Baseball 2005). I'm glad I started with the PS4 first for this gen since so far The Show
seems like the best MLB game I've seen.

 

You have the option of buying the console that has the games you want to play on it...

 

If MS does not announce a baseball game soon I will have to switch loyalties to Sony.Console gaming was built on the backbone of sports games and its embarrasing MSFT doesnt have their own lineup of sports games,especially baseball and golf.These games
are a must for console success and credibility.

 

Personally I love baseball. But Im not foolish enough to think Microsoft will waste valuable dollars developing a game for a market that is so small.

If it dont make dollars it dont make sense.

 

Hailofsteel it not main thing. In USA. it shooter and RPG's are the main ganra.

I'd love a baseball game as a die-hard Phillies fan, but it will be hard to out due The Show anyway. That game is godly.

 

Baseball is a wordwide phenomena.Nintendo,Sega,and Sony have always had baseball games on their consoles.To say itsonly a small percentage of gamers who would buy a baseball game is not true.Only a small percentage will buy a mediocre or terrible game is
more like it.If you build an awesome game it will sell.

 

It is true though. Regardless of its popularity doesnt change the facts. The most important fact is MLB the Show 13 sold less than 1 million copies globally. But keep living in delusion land thinking that MLB games make successful consoles.

 

Baseball may not alone make a console but it lends credibilty to the console manufacturers commitment to its customers .If they're too cheap too make a baseball game I question whether they will support the console well over the life cycle with a steady
supply of quality games.
