Anything after MK4, except MK9. MK9 put them back on track.

Scorpion DLC Announced

Thanks to the Compatibility Pack 3 glitch today, got to use Scorpion in SP modes and online against those who also had the pack and he plays almost as exactly as MK9...feels more sluggish to use though, but still fun...will be popular online when correctly
released as DLC

There has been a huge surge in MK9 backwards Compatible post lately. It would be awesome though, but it is up to the devs of mk9 to bring it BC not Microsoft

MK9 is not backwards compatible. (https://www.xbox.com/en-US/xbox-one/backward-compatibility?xr=shellnav) There is a version of the game
for the One though. You would have to purchase that version in order to be able to play it on the One.
