Mixer tab on Xbox dashboard removal

Let me start by saying that I am a super laid-back person and it takes a LOT to get me motivated to make a post anywhere, let alone a forum... Sorry for being a little salty and the paragraph of text but I have literally spent the last 2+ hours searching
for a direct link to a feedback page where I can just send MS feedback privately, and all I get are options for live chat, the BS UserVoice site (which is a waste of time as they just delete the feedback threads they dont like), and a link to the forums here.

TL;DR Summary: Mixer app (tab) is bloatware garbage that should be optional/hide-able/move-able. Not a forced on us as if it was part of the OS.

I want this as well. This Mixer tab is just a bunch of youtube-esque garbage. I dont want this on my Xbox, it ran faster when I was able to hide the tab but now that the update went through on the 15th, MS removed one of the best hidden features they ever
gave us. Total BS IMHO. I dont enjoy watching other people play games on stream on my xbox (when I fire up the xbone I do it to PLAY games, not to watch other people do so). You are wasting my bandwidth, storage space, and CPU processing time by forcing me
to have this tab loaded on my xbox. I paid like $400+ for this damn thing day 1 and this is the first time I feel like I have literally been cheated out of my money - for the $400+ I paid, I should be able to customize it the way I want. I could have put that
money toward building a PC gaming rig or a *gasp* P$4, but I bought an Xbone...

I am tempted to pull my internal and manually edit the files to corrupt or delete the Mixer app data manually so it physically cannot run is how sick of it that I am. It clogs up my dash with a 100% completely useless tab that I cant hide, or even move to
the end. Why put this damn thing RIGHT AFTER the Home tab???!? So I am forced to scroll through it EVERY SINGLE TIME I go to the entertainment or store tabs...? So it can hang/lag for 2 seconds EVERY TIME I try to scroll through it? I just dont get it and
am super frustrated with this now that the hide tab feature has been removed/turned off.

Furthermore, there is no option to send MS feedback directly on the matter besides the BS UserVoice page where they conveniently deleted the highest up-voted topic for the WHOLE xbox page. Anyone want to guess which topic that was? Spoiler: It was the topic
where users begged and pleaded with MS to keep the hide tabs feature that they literally just removed 2 days ago when they deleted the whole thread with over 1,500 up-votes and was still going strong. It had almost double the votes of any other closest topic
and they just deleted it with not even so much as an acknowledgement. I have been an xbox user since the OG xbox - still have it even, along with my 360 and 360s. It feels like MS is definitely trying their best to push me to another system/platform. Many
of my friends feel the same way, I think out of the almost 200 friends I have, maybe 1 uses the Mixer app since he is a Twitch streamer also and even he hates that damn thing. It is bloatware garbage and it should not be forced on us. This system is already
under-powered compared to PC, why cripple it even more with garbage apps you cant even hide or delete?

I dont get how MS is so out of touch with its user base. Reminds me of the kinect debacle where MS just gave us the stupid kinect because that is what they thought we wanted - then kept pushing it on us despite the fact that most people didnt even want it.
A mic for Cortana voice commands would have been more than sufficient - why would I gesture and yell at my xbone when we have the fabulous things called wireless remotes.. What a waste of R&D money and a total flop IMHO. Mixer = kinect 2.0. More useless garbage
that only 10% or less of the player-base will even utilize in any way whatsoever. No offense to those that use/like it, but from my standpoint and literally EVERYONE I talk to the Mixer tab is the most hated xbox "feature" and I cant understand why MS keeps
pushing, trying to force it on us. Do a search for "hide/remove xbox one mixer tab" and you will get tons of results where people are super annoyed with this garbage app that they are forced to have clog up their dashboard for no reason. I can only assume
that whoever is behind the mixer app is lining MS' pockets with money in some way, in order to force this crap down out throats.

Couldn't have worded it better, kabojnk. I don't really care about mixer but just the way it's so blatantly advertised with it being shoved in our face (literally because it's in front of our freinds tab). I am really hoping we can at least get the option
to hide the tab, or even better we could customize our dashboard. Many people can't ignore things like you not being able to delete the mixer app but siriously Microsoft, shoving it our faces?

I dont think, that MS Remove Mixer from the Dashboard Tab. Mixer (just like Minecraft) belong to Microsoft, they have paid a lot of money for it and want to make a lot of money from it. Mixer is an instrument to further push the XBOX brand.

Yes I agree with you 100%. And now they have included it as a tab on the dashboard! And worst of all its in front of the community tab! At least if they won't remove the mixer tab but it behind the oneguide tab. It is clunky to put it in front of the community
tab, especially to someone like me who doesn't care for livestreaming.

GamePass and Mixer Tabs on the Dashboard occasionally refuse to load and I get an error however I am still able to assess the store and view GamePass from there and Mixer from within the Mixer APP, but those Tabs are iffy.
