    Mixer Streaming - Webcam Goes on and off Randomly


    I use a Logitech C310 HD Webcam for streaming from both my Xbox One (built-in Mixer streaming) and PC (Streamlabs OBS).

    When using the Xbox One built-in Mixer streaming feature, I'm experiencing a weird issue. The cam will randomly turn off for a second. Randomly, as in, sometimes it's 5 times in a minute, sometimes it's once every 5 minutes.

    The cam has a pilot light, so I can see it turn off for a second or three and then back on. You can see the result of the issue in my yesterday's attempt at streaming from the built-in app.

    I apologise if this should've been posted in Mixer's subreddit, it made more sense to me to post here.

    There's a work around when using the built-in Mixer streaming, for now, disconnect your webcam.

    That should at least stabilize your stream.

    Thank you for posting on the Xbox forums. I'd be happy to help figure out what could be causing the crashing.

    Are you streaming to Mixer or Twitch directly from your Xbox?

    Do you have a USB webcam plugged in while you stream?

    We've seen some instances where the Xbox One console would shut off while streaming on Mixer with a USB webcam plugged in. Let us know if this applies to you.
