  1. Mixer stops broadcasting on Windows 10

So I have been trying to broadcast a game on Windows 10 for several weeks now, using the build in Mixer broadcasting feature. I am lucky to get 10 minutes of broadcast time, before it stops broadcasting all together. I have all the latest updates, and have
even done a shut down and restart of the device. Nothing has worked to allow Mixer to broadcast without shutting down. At times I go from 7 seconds to 9 minutes of broadcast time, and every time it stops broadcasting. I am at a loss to figure out how to fix
it. I could use OBS or Xsplit, but that limits the ability to see chat, and adds extra resources I shouldn't have to use up. You'd think this would be working great on Windows 10 Pro, but not for me. Works like a charm on Xbox One!

    :)

Have you tried reinstalling Mixer and do you have any other permissions as blocked.

can I record xbox one games without having requirements?

I can't use Game DVR. because it says you are broadcasting and try again after broadcasting. (again, I'm using windows 10 to stream my xbox one)

Mixer stops broadcasting on Windows 10

    Hi,

There are many factors that can affect broadcasting a game on Windows 10. Two of these are corrupted profile and incorrect settings. For us to properly assist you, we need to gather more information. Kindly answer the questions below:

    • Have you tried broadcasting using a different Xbox Live profile?
    • Are you getting any error messages when the game broadcasting stopped?
    • Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling the Xbox app?

Meanwhile, we suggest that you run the troubleshooter for Windows apps using this

    link
. This will help us detect the root cause of any issues with the app and provide suggested solutions to solve it.

  5. Answers to your questions:

    1) Yes, same result

    2) No specific error just "Something went wrong, please try again later".

    3) The Xbox app can not be uninstalled as it's built into Windows 10.

The troubleshooter has provided no problems with any service on Windows 10. I managed to get to 22 minutes before it stopped broadcasting today, and it seems I'm not the only one with this issue, though some have fixed it using Powershell, but their
    suggestions only gave me errors!

  7. I did the command as told in Powershell, I went to download the Xbox App via the Windows Store, and it told me it was installed. This tells me that the Xbox App was not uninstalled.

  9. I did as asked, and it uninstalled the Xbox app for some reason. As of post time, it will not install the Xbox App from the Windows Store, but will install Xbox App Beta. Even with the beta installed, and a restart of Windows 10 I am no longer able to broadcast.
I was able to broadcast for more than 10 minutes after doing as you requested, but no longer. This is getting me very irritated now, as nothing suggested is working.

We appreciate your patience and for keeping us updated about this matter. Since you are unable to download the Xbox app from the Windows Store, we recommend that you perform a reset store cache. To do this, you may refer to the steps below:

    1. Press the Win+R keys to open the Run dialog.
    2. Type WSReset.exe, and click/tap on OK.

Note: The WS tool resets the Windows Store without changing account settings or deleting installed apps.
    3. The Store and a command prompt will now open without any message. The command prompt will automatically close when the Store cache has been reset.
After resetting the store cache, we suggest that you uninstall the Xbox app beta before trying to install the Xbox app from Windows Store.

Keep us updated, so that we can assist you further.
