Mixer Music Console Streaming

Hello, I am helping my friend set up her stream. She is using the mixer app on console to stream but also wants to add music. We tried using the spotufy app on the console to play background music but it isn't working. Is there any other tips we can use
for get music with only streaming on console?

if you are in the US you can use the Pandora app to play music in your stream but most other music apps on Xbox don't play background music in streams.

I couldn't find anything else to play music when I streamed on Mixer and Pandora isn't available where I am.

I find it easiest to just stream straight from console on mixer. Don't stream a lot but trying to get more into it and mixer works great.

I really miss the feature of saving albums (music) to your console and using that music in game. I remember being able to play my rl songs instead of the game music. Nowadays you have to stream it, then use the mixer to adjust to block out the game sound.
If you want the sound fx, you have to use the in-game settings. To which some games don't have the option to mute in-game music and keep sound fx.

Mixer has been removed for all Xbox Insiders if you still want to stream to Mixer to until July 22nd, leave the Insider program (don't worry once you join again you will be able to join the same ring you are in now)
