    Mixer - Downloads only Audio, no Video? Help Please...


    So I am new to the Xbox One scene. I know, late to the game.... but I am setting up my Mixer account for my son to post videos on youtube, and I get the stream working no problem. Videos are saved, with sound and audio. I can get them to playback on MIXER
    but when I go to download the videos, so I can edit them and repost them into YouTube, the download comes through as an .mp4, and when I upload that into Vegas Movie Studio, all i get is the audio track with no video track? Thoughts on how I can fix this
    would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!!

    HELP PLEASE

    Does your amp have an optical audio port on it? You can run your one straight to your monitor but the only audio connection except for the HDMI is optical audio.

    Yeah, Mixer stinks. I switched to Youtube. Great audio and video.

    You can broadcast on mixer through your xbox and have your friend include his audio in the broadcast. Then after your done recording stop the stream and go to mixer.com. View your past streams and download it to your computer. Edit it in a video editor,
    and then upload it to youtube.

    *Make sure you change your settings in mixer to save your recordings.

    This is the only way to do it with out an Capture card. If you need any further help please let us know!!!

    Game DVR not recording microphone.

    You can't record voice through DVR, however if your using Mixer for audio why not record video with Mixer as well.

    wow that's a great idea the only part is feeling awkward if someone gets in the live stream and listens but I will need to work with that if I want to start youtube I appreciate your helping me

    As others have stated, there is no way to record your audio while using the 'record from now' function.

    I stream to mixer and that captures my mics audio, and it's really easy to do too.

    The only other alternatives to a capture card is to stream directly from your console to Mixer or Twitch, or use the Xbox App on Windows 10 to stream your console's audio and video to the windows 10 device, then you can use some other software to record,
    or stream. ( I hope that made sense).
