Mixer chat box not working

Microsoft Support couldn't help me and sent me here. If I stream my game and a viewer sends a message in the chat box then I cant see it. If I'm watching a stream and I message a streamer then they cant see my message. Other streamers havent been able to
see other viewers comments so I know it's not just me having the issue. I tried telling the support guy to report it to Microsoft but I guess he didn't understand that this issue isn't just me. My settings are all good for streaming, my chat box is enabled,
ive resetted the xbox, dont know what else to do. Streamers need to be able to see their viewers messages, if they cant then how the hell can they get followers??? The chat worked like 5 days ago and everything was golden but now it doesnt work!!!

Chat mixer not working

hey I just got a mic and it's not showing the chat mixer my controller is updated and the chat mixer will show up sometimes

Did you do this directly from a mixer account and within the mixer viewing window? (This is a button on the top end of someones chat box)

Mixer has been having a lot of issues lately. I've been unable to chat as well. They do respond on their forums and via twitter though. You may want to try going through their official support pages. Twitter is @WatchMixer and their forum link is https://forums.mixer.com/categories

UPDATE.

I figured it out.

Hard reset the xbox with the headset plugged in. The new controller has the chat mixer turned all the way to chat and not to game . Put the mixer back to the middle and it works. Without the hard restart, the option to adjust the chat mixer is gone.
