    Mixer App does not start


    the app crashes directly when you try to start it. i have the ptoblem for about 3 months now. streaming is possible, watching streams not. The app is unusable.

    hard reset already tried like mentioned in another thread here.

    Is there any possibility to reinstall the mixer app?

    Thanks for coming to the forums. Since you are in the insider program. We recommend you go to the

    insider forum     and post the issue. This could be due to an update you have received so they need to know about it. There may be others already posted the same issue and a fix for it posted.

    Agree with our wonderful Mod here.

    Just so I can test it on my end as well. What ring of the Insider program are you in? I am an Alpha Skip and haven't seen any issues with it lately.

    MyStatement for Mixer usage

    Do we have to use Mixer on the Xbox itself for it to count? Because if that's the case, it's not specified in the description.
    The description does state you have to use the Mixer app on the console. - Jump in mid-stream! Get started
    by using the Mixer app on your Xbox for at least 30 minutes per week for four weeks straight.
