Misuse of the System of Reports on Xbox One

2 days ago, during a game of Gears of War 4, [mod removed] sent a message to me and another Member of my team to report us 6 times per day until we receive a ban. The threat came for no reason, just because they're losing the game. I have
all the msg saved including the gamertags would report me.

From what I read on sites, the misuse of the system of Reports goes against the Xbox Live Code of conduct and carries punishments to the author. I don't even know if he reported me, but this individual should do this every time he lose a game ... who knows
how many players may already have been banned because of the action of this sore loser.

If it really is that big of a deal, be sure to report him for misuse of text communications as well as system tampering. If you want to go even farther, go to ic3.gov and report him there.

Bad Rep (Misused Against Me)

so recently i have been given the bad rep curse and i cannot join any matchmade games, i fully beleive this is because of misuse of the reporting system (Due to 9 reports based on unsporting conduct, i beleive this because i have been going for 100 rumble
wins and winning 99% of matches and then obviously the other guys report me) but now i am stuck without being able to find any games and there is no way your rep gets fixed on xbox it is so broken, you cant even leave good rep on your friends xbox profile
aymore! please fix this as it is a horrible system that punishes skilled players!

 

You'll want to file a complaint on him via the console in order for the enforcement team to investigate him. Calling out other gamers is not allowed on the forums.

One it doesn't matter how many reports are filed it only takes one valid one

Inaccurate report goes against the reporter and affects their reporting accuracy which for future reports makes it very hard to file a report

You should read the enforcement.xbox.com and the faq

also it should be noted that you may actually mistaking two completely different issues

And FYI any bad rep reports would be valid against you

Calling other players sore losers shows you have bad sportsmanship which is an rep issue not a enforcement issue

 

I called xbox support and they said that it is case of enforcement.

and report someone just for losing a game is something that does not accept losing

 

Then you aren't reading enforcement.xbox.com

There is no user forums on the enforcement site

One rep is not an enforcement issue and it is clearly stated on the enforcement site

2 rep is a community enforcement nothing to do with the pet

The community decides your rep not you

This is just like real life there is no reset button for reputation

Secondly as pointed out your behaviour clearly shows bad sportmanlike behaviour which is a valid rep issue

How you treat others is how you get reputation in this case bad reputation for being a bad player which would be correct

And FYI phone support sends people here all the time for enforcement issues or rep when it has nothing to do with it

That tells you how knowledgeable about enforcement they are

And yes this is stated on the enforcement site that rep isn't an enforcement issue and you can't even file a case review

A fyi they only deal with a band and suspensions not rep

 

my reputation is on the highest level possible, I'm not denouncing by just one report, but by misuse that may be affecting many other users. as I said, the threat came only because he was losing the match, no one humiliated or cursed him after or during
the match. The other report me gamertags are of people who have never played, or are fake accounts of this same user ... This isn't something someone honest ... you defend so that attitude that I'm guessing you've ever done the same.

 

No you aren't getting what people here are telling you

Now you are being silly with he said she said which should be thrown a bucket of salt on

It doesn't matter what they say or do if you read the enforcement site you would know this not some random post

And most of the rep posts have nothing to do with enforcement

That's why we link them to the rep website

Now if you are talking about mistaken bans you should read the posts more closely

Most of them are retaliatory ones

Where they said something to the other users

That's why we say don't believe everything you see on the net

The pet team doesn't work like how some users think

99.9% of users don't have enforcement issues guess why becausd they know how to be human

Your actions and their actions count when they get reported

So if you retaliated in a way not fiting the tou you do get punished also

2nd if you had read the actual enforcement site it would dispel all the misinformation you are getting users

3rd all fake reports are checked and reviewed by more then one person and are issued valid or invalid if invalid it scores as a bad report and their accuracy score drops

Them before any suspension takes place it is sent to another team to review

If you had read the actual enforcement site you would know thisthis

Bans and suspension aren't instant it could be a month ago or a week ago

It takes time to review and nothing is instant

Instead of relying on misinformed players educate yourself on the system

Rep is not a enforcement issue nor will any pet member address those

Half the time it's really is the misinformed players fault

Retaliating or they want to shout I'm going to sue ms for false report

 

OK, thanks for the help. Anyway the official Xbox support told me to keep the protocol number, so if I get any punishment I have evidence that I reported the case.

 

You still don't get it

It doesn't matter what Support says they have no say on enforcement matters

You should really read the enforcement site on how the pet works

It doesn't matter who started the fight how you act and everything you say makes you liable

If you do anything against the code of conduct you will be punished if reported regardless of who started and what Support says

Pet has final say over everything
